HUD has issued a funding notice for $150 million towards the Section 202 Supportive Housing for the Elderly program. Section 202 provides Capital Advance funding and project rental subsidies for the development and ongoing operation of supportive rental housing for very low-income persons, aged 62 years or older. Maximum award: $20 million. Expected number of awards: 45. Eligible Applicants: Nonprofits with a 501(c)(3) status. Please note Section 202 units cannot be considered replacement housing for the purposes of Choice Neighborhoods. Notice of funding here
