Bio

In 2023, RC (she/her) became Executive Director of the Reinvent South Stockton Coalition, a collective impact movement that aims to empower residents to transform their community.
 
RC is a Stockton native and longtime trauma advocate, serving the area as a social worker and mental health clinician in child welfare, foster family agency, and crisis intervention. In 2018, she founded The People’s Empowerment Center, a local social change and wellness hub, where she implemented programs that aimed to mitigate racial disparities and injustices through economic development, spiritual enlightenment, and mental health awareness. She is a lifelong collaborator, fostering partnerships with community members and stakeholders to support culturally rooted healing, restorative policy implementation, and culturally-inclusive curriculums within local schools and non-profits.
 
RC is a proud San Joaquin Delta College graduate, and went on to earn her B.A. in Psychology and Master of Social Work from CSU Stanislaus.
