Mary (she/they) serves as a fellow for CivicSpark, an AmeriCorps program centered around building capacity for local public agencies to address community resilience issues. As the Shared Trust & Safety Fellow, Mary leads RSSC’s efforts in addressing shared trauma, and park activation.
Mary is passionate about the equitable distribution of public green space and transportation and has developed a keen interest in Sustainable Urban Planning. She has experience organizing multiple environmental justice events and served as President of the Mixed Ethnic and Cultural Student Association during college.
Mary recently graduated from the University of California Santa Cruz, majoring in Environmental Studies with a concentration in Conservation Science & Policy. In her free time, Mary enjoys going to the gym, running and finding undiscovered/underrated restaurants.
