Jewelian has served in multiple youth advisory roles, as a commissioner, and other leadership roles creating policy and projects both locally and statewide in areas of mental health, structural change to the criminalization system, housing/homlessness, climate, economics, and higher education.
He also has experience under several elected officials carrying out COVID response work to mitigate the health decline, shaping memorandum and resolutions for the city and school board, and more to bring innovation in how leadership responds to our most pressing social issues. Recent work has been on creating sustainable pipelines for youth while curating new economic models that plan for safety nets and self-empowered communities. He is a Delta College alumni and soon-to-be University of the Pacific alumni.
Outside of Jewelian’s role with RSSC, he enjoys being with The People.
