Benjamin (he/him) serves as RSSC’s Senior Project Coordinator, overseeing the Cradle-to-Career result areas. He works to ensure that all people in the South Stockton Promise Zone have the support they need to succeed in their educational and professional pursuits.
Benjamin’s roots in advocacy for the underserved run deep. He previously served as an AB 109 case manager at Mary Magdalene Community Services to help lower recidivism rates for formerly incarcerated individuals. He has also served as a field representative for two State Senators, former Senator Cathleen Galgiani of Stockton and Senator Scott Weiner of San Francisco. As a longtime resident of San Joaquin County, his experience providing services to his community has equipped him to manage RSSC’s education and workforce development initiatives.
Ben earned his B.A. in political science from San Jose State University and a J.D. from Humphreys University Laurence Drivon School of Law. In his spare time, Ben enjoys walking his dog Bentley, reading, and collecting sports memorabilia. His favorite sports teams are the San Francisco 49ers, San Jose Sharks, and Oakland A’s.
